Friultex Srl was founded in 1979 near Pordenone, in the north-east of Italy, as a weaving mill serving underwear manufacturers. At that time, underwear was produced almost exclusively in tubular fabric.

Over the years, as a result of delocalization, production gradually shifted towards the use of open-width fabrics. For this reason, we expanded our machinery range with Ø 30 and 34 machines and, more recently, we have added modern Santoni electronic circular knitting machines to our tubular machinery fleet.

Friultex has grown in into an Italian textile company specialized in circular knit premium fabrics for underwear, sportswear and fashion.
